Halus, from Land to Sea was a two years project resulting in three distinct exhibitions, all of which consisted of photographic documentation alongside installation work.  Halus, from Land to Sea, 2015, Half Mast, 2016; The latter project focused and reflected on a plankton bloom which hit the waters around Singapore and decimated most of the marine life. 

On a separate kelong (floating fish farm) Tan, with his architectural and building capacity spent time reconstructing and altering the farm hands-on.

The work is currently put on hold and incomplete.
